London is an amazing place for food. We were lucky to try some true British classics like fish and chips and mushy peas, but the ethnic food is really what makes London special. Our first stop was Poppies Fish and Chips. We were late for our reservation and so they gave our table away, and then we were forced to wait for the next available table. The owner took a liking to M & O and brought them out a cone of chips to eat while they waited.
The next night we were a little bit more adventurous in cuisine and went to the Al- Marroush off the Marble Arch. O eats hummus like the Zohan, but M is not as much of a fan, but these two are no strangers to shwarma, falafel and other Middle Eastern goodies. The food at Al-Marroush was some of the best outside of the Middle East; and M was probably the biggest fan.
